Use HSA/FSA Funds at JNH Lifestyles
JNH Lifestyles has partnered with Flex, enabling qualified customers to purchase our saunas using Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). This means you may be able to use your HSA or FSA debit card to make a sauna purchase with pre-tax dollars, potentially saving you 30-40% on your investment.
What is a "qualified customer"?
The IRS regulates HSA and FSA eligibility, requiring that customers have a medical condition or disease they aim to treat or manage with infrared saunas. To qualify, customers need documentation, known as a Letter of Medical Necessity, confirming their eligibility. To simplify this process, JNH Lifestyles has partnered with Flex, ensuring a quick and easy process!

What is an FSA or HSA, and what are the benefits?
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and a Health Savings Account (HSA) are tax-advantaged accounts designed to help you save on medical expenses, but they differ in key ways:
- FSA (Flexible Spending Account): Offered through employers, FSAs let employees use pre-tax dollars for medical expenses such as prescriptions and copays. However, FSAs generally follow a "use-it-or-lose-it" policy, meaning funds must be used within the plan year.
- HSA (Health Savings Account): Available to individuals with a high-deductible health plan, HSAs allow funds to roll over year to year, providing more flexibility.

I don’t see HSA or FSA options at checkout. Why not?
HSA or FSA options require a quick setup through our team. Just call us at (800) 528-3110 or email support@jnhlifestyles.com, and we’ll get it set up for you.
Why was my HSA or FSA card declined?
HSA/FSA cards can be declined if information such as the card number, expiration date, or zip code is entered incorrectly. Flex will notify you during checkout if any field is missing or incorrect.
The most common reason for decline is insufficient funds. Please contact your HSA or FSA provider to confirm your balance before reattempting.
I don’t have an HSA or FSA card. Can I still use my HSA/FSA funds?
Yes, we can assist you directly with the purchase of your sauna using a debit or credit card. Once completed, you'll receive an itemized receipt that you can submit to your HSA or FSA provider for reimbursement.
What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) is a document from a healthcare provider explaining why a specific treatment, service, or equipment is essential for a patient's health. For HSA or FSA purchases, an LOMN may be required for reimbursement of expenses that are not clearly eligible under IRS guidelines.
