After a successful career at Boston College with 3 Frozen Four appearances, Bolden joined the Canadian Women's Hockey League's (CWHL) Boston Blades; winning the Clarkson cup in 2015. The following year in 2016, she played for the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL) and won the Isobel Cup.

Currently, Bolden lives in Southern California where her mantra #BeBold holds true as she is the Los Angeles Kings' Growth and Inclusion Specialist, as well as a Pro Scout (the second women to ever do so), dabbles into sports broadcasting with NHL Network, NBCSports and Sportsnet as an analyst, while helming her Blake Bolden Mentorship program, powered by Play-It-Again Sports working with girls all over the country.
