Some retailers of Infrared Saunas seem to have a lot to say about product safety using alarming headlines like “EMF Dangers of Home Infrared Saunas.” Then they immediately declare, clearly and distinctly:
“…there are NO Dangerous levels of EMF's in home infrared saunas”.
But they’ve done their job–they have managed to get you to visit their website! Then they reassure you that there is nothing to fear, and now hope you’ll buy their product while you’re there. Personally I would be reluctant to reward such behavior.
The Truth
The simple truth is that infrared energy is too low a frequency to cause ionization and therefore cannot harm you. No matter how tough you are, or how frail or vulnerable you might feel, infrared saunas are completely safe. They are no more dangerous than the electric element in your oven, the laptop you are working on, standing next to your refrigerator, or making a slice of toast!
And as research has proven, frequent infrared sauna use will actually make you feel better, help loosen stiff joints, and offer generally improved health. When you can move easily and comfortably you can be more active, and the more active you are, the better the quality of your life! Plus there is the added bonus of healthy, younger-looking skin, fewer acne blemishes, and that fresh, completely-clean feeling you get when you finish off with a shower!
Some Facts
Ultraviolet (UV), X-Ray and Gamma Ray radiation, which are not present in infrared saunas, are located at the opposite end of the light spectrum from Infrared. They can ionize, which can affect your cells and the DNA information inside them. UV is the primary cause of most skin cancers (melanoma), whether the source is the Sun, or something else.
A traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body. An infrared sauna heats your body directly without warming the air around you […] which makes it accessible to people who can't tolerate the heat of a conventional sauna. Several studies have looked at using infrared saunas in the treatment of chronic health problems, such as high blood pressure, congestive heart failure and rheumatoid arthritis, and found some evidence of benefit [and] no adverse effects have been reported with infrared saunas. -- Brent A. There was never any need by other retailers to introduce this into the conversation. It is like talking about the dangers of Deep Sea Diving while you’re visiting a public pool. It made no sense except as a means by which they could talk about non-existent dangers in Infrared Saunas, to open the conversation portal, then attempt to instill trust and brush it off it as nonsense.

The ordering process was super easy. Called the 800 #, talked with Erika, paid and 3 days later it was in my driveway. Very simple to put together. Really all you need is a screw driver. It really is easier with 2 people. Works fantastic off of a regular outlet. Plugged in and ready to use. Took/takes about 15 minutes for it to get to 120 degrees. The timer is wonderful; you never have to wonder how long you have been inside. After having it put together have used 8 times in just 4 days.

With temperature below zero, my wife always wanted a sauna to warm up. So I got her this model for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. Super easy to put together so I don't have to worry if we move to a different house. All pieces snap together without screws and are light to carry.

This is an amazing sauna. Delivered in 3 days. Took us a few hours to put together but it is pretty easy with 2 persons. We used it right away. It heats up quickly and the aroma from the cedar is invigorating and healing. One of the best investments we have ever made for ourselves. The staff is knowledgeable but never pushes us to buy anything. We will recommend this sauna to anyone. For the price, it is a very reasonable and high quality product!
