Manual Usage

This unit is for INDOOR USE ONLY. Read safety and installation sections completely before use. Support contacts are in Section 15.

02. Safety Information

Critical Warning

Please read this section in full. While generally safe, infrared therapy requires caution for specific health conditions.

General Safety

  • Never use under influence of alcohol/sedatives.
  • Wait for heart rate to normalize after exercise.
  • Hydrate before, during, and after.
  • Exit immediately if dizzy.

Medical Consultation

  • Pregnant or potentially pregnant.
  • Cardiovascular conditions.
  • Implants (pacemakers, metal rods).
  • Taking blood thinners/diuretics.

Temperature Guidelines

The Arki can reach up to 170°F. However, temperatures above 150°F are intense and recommended only for experienced users who have gradually acclimated over many sessions. Most users find their ideal range between 120°F and 145°F. Never exceed 60 minutes per session regardless of temperature.

Electrical Safety: Requires 120V/20A dedicated outlet.

10–15 minutes natural cooling. Don't rush.

05. Before Installation

Indoor Location Requirements

Choose a dry, level indoor area. Do not install outdoors or in areas prone to water splashes (like directly next to a shower).

Clearance Zones

  • Top: 5 inches clearance from ceiling for ventilation/access.
  • Front: Allow swing space for the glass door.
  • Outlet: Ensure power outlet is accessible before sliding unit into place.

07. Electrical

Outlet Requirements

120V / 20Amp

The sauna plug must connect to a dedicated 120V/20A outlet located within 4 feet of the unit. You will only need a licensed electrician if you need to install this specific outlet.

Dedicated Outlet

Must be a dedicated circuit. Do not share with other appliances.

No Hardwiring

The sauna cannot be hardwired. It is designed for plug-in operation only.

Timer 1 – 59 Minutes
Red Light Toggle independently of heat.

09. First Use

Burn-In Protocol
  1. Open door slightly (2 inches) or open vents.
  2. Power on.
  3. Set temperature to Maximum (170°F).
  4. Set timer to 60 minutes.
  5. Do not sit inside.This burns off any new-wood dust/odors.
  6. Let cycle complete and wipe down interior with damp cloth after cooling.

10. Daily Operation

Phase 01

Preheat

15-20 mins before use (reach ~110°F to start).

Phase 02

Session

20-45 mins. Hydrate. Temp will rise as you sit.

Phase 03

Cooldown

10-15 mins natural cooling.

12. Care & Maintenance

Exterior (Hemlock)

The exterior is made of natural, untreated Hemlock wood.

  • Do not use a damp cloth.
  • Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth only.
  • The untreated surface allows for optional staining or painting if desired.

Interior (Hemlock)

  • Leave door open 15-30 mins post-session to air out.
  • Wipe sweat from bench and floor immediately after use.
  • Never paint, stain, or varnish the interior wood.
  • Use a towel on bench to prevent sweat stains.

14. Troubleshooting

Sauna Not Heating
  • Check electrical plug connection on roof and at wall.
  • Check circuit breaker.
  • Ensure timer and temperature are set correctly.
Bluetooth not connecting
  • Ensure sauna is powered on.
  • Forget device "JNH" or "Sauna" on your phone and re-pair.
  • Range is limited; keep phone within 10-15 feet.
Tripping Breaker

Stop usage immediately.

  • Confirm dedicated 20A circuit.
  • Ensure no other high-draw appliances (hairdryer, heater) are on the same circuit.
  • Contact electrician or support.
